How do you connect a Stageline to a NAC 52 with a HiCap?

I recently took the plunge and connected my P9 to the NAC 52 with a Stageline using the power from Socket 2. What an improvement over the internal boards! Better presence and improved bass and imaging. I also have a HiCap that I would like to use with the Stageline but, the only way to do this is to connect the 4 pin output from the HiCap to the BNC connectors on the preamp. Is there another way to do this using a 4pin to 5pin interconnect? Is there such a thing and where would you get one. Thanks for any help

Presumably you do this in the same way as with any other preamp. Your tonearm leads plug into the StageLine. The DIN output on the StageLine connects to the HiCap (may be socket 4, can't remember) with a SNAIC5 (which also powers the StageLine), and the signal is passed to one of the 52's high-level inputs with another SNAIC, although you will probably need the special 4 to 5-pin version.

I own not a single item here -- this is pure speculation and I think I should get a free Prefix if I'm right...

I ran my Stageline like this.

You need a special 4 pin to 5 pin 'lavender' interconnect (in addition to a standard 5 pin SNAIC) from your Naim dealer.

Question?

Ii it better to run the stageline via a hicap to the 52 or to use the socket 2 and take the juice from the supercap???
