Hi AV@naim, just wondered how you got on with the switch box?

I'm expecting it to be rubbish, but you never know!

It has clever AV switching you know.

So..... I lent the good AV@naim a scart switch box to try within his system - as I guess many people will know, these things react differently within various set ups, the fact that this particular box prevents the DVD5 entering stand by is a mystery - I know of AV@naim's set up & there is only RGB and composite (sync) present within the connection to the switch box!

So how it can prevent basic functions is a bit of a mystery.

Needless to say, there was no sale.

Also, forgot to mention, the "blue hue" was previously enough to light most village halls, so I dumbed it down to a mere blue "sun" with a resistor change.

Anyone know of any decent CRT's with HDMI input?

The last Sony 32" or 36" CRTs had HDMI–but they're awfully heavy. Great picture, though.

Hi Dave,

Can you actually still get Trinitron's? I assume you mean 2nd hand...

Oh–and the Samsung flat CRTs, still available...
