HDD recomendations for NAS

Posted by: Mickyblueyes on 23 February 2009

As per title really.
Looking for quiet reliable 1TB drives for a Qnap Nas.

Are the 'green' drives from WD and Seagate worth the permium for home use? or are the Samsung's OK?

TIA

I am running 3x western digital RE2-GP 1tb raid drives, designed for 24/7 usage blah blah. Quiet and energy efficient. Recommended.
