I've run mine with a 140 and 250 (needed a special lead made up for the 250). What are your plans ?

I run mine with a NAP 200, it's a good match, works absolutely fine and makes a noticeable difference.
You need a 4 pin to 5 pin lead to take the output from the nVi to the input of Nap 200 and then you need to select "external small/large speakers" when you setup the nVi.
Hope this helps.

And i drve my Allae loudspeaker with a Nap 250.2 (the cable are a 5 pin DIN to 3 pin XLR).

What pre-amp is the N-Vi akin too?
Is the 252 above it in quality?
I only ask as Gary has just prompted me to wonder whether this is the way to add cinema sound to my existing 252+300 set-up???
Regards,
Jon

I went that route but the 282 into a 250 compared to an n-Vi into the 250 is night and day.

The Nac 282 are better to a n-Vi in pre-amp ?
Yes , certainly , but the nac 282 are expensive .
But the nac 282 are my futur upgrade or a nac 112x , 122 x (that take down to my money and my patience ).

There are two official Naim cables for connecting an n-Vi to a Naim power amp.
03-003-0145 (Interconnect Lead, 5 Pin DIN 180o to XLR, 2 Channel) - For connecting NAP250
03-003-0146 (Interconnect Lead, 5 Pin DIN 180o to 4 Pin DIN) - For connecting NAP90, NAP110, NAP140, NAP150, NAP150x, NAP160, NAP180, NAP200
Your dealer should be able to obtain these for you.

Jon,
The n-Vi's preamp is similar in quality to a 112x, as reflected by its cost (you get a whole n-Vi for half the cost of a 252). It is an excellent way of introducing surround to your Naim system, leaving the two channel sources to play through the 252, but enjoying the n-Vi as a surround sound source to the 252 through its AV input with unity gain switched on, while powering your centre, surround and sub through the n-Vi's power amps.
