Rear legroom for an airport run.

I'll be collecting the outlaws from Thiefrow in a couple of weeks and the Bora just isn't suitable.
Looking at the Rentals available I think I have the choice of an MPV of the Espace/Sharan/Galaxy size or a saloon of E240/S80 size.
Does anyone know which is best, MPV or saloon, for rear legroom once the front seats are fully back (I'm 6ft 5, wife is 6ft 1)?
Cheers in advance

Just a guess really, but the airport taxi firm at Stansted airport use Galaxies. There is a fair bit of rear legroom in them, more iirc than my mates merc e class.
As you are picking up from LHR, at least luggage room won't be so much of an issue!

As long as I don't have to drive like the aiport taxi drivers do!
Thanks Matt and Martin
PS. Matt.... how is the elbow? I think I might have heard you yell all the way over here in Stansted!

Hi Tony,
yes, I did scream out a bit! It may have just reached Stansted from Felsted, where the dastardly deed happened!
Anyway, staples came out yesterday & a new hinged plaster went on,& its here to stay for a bloomin' month!
So, the xps2 is getting well & truly run in.
Could be worse. Although the bank manager may disagree.
Cheers, Matt.

I'll be selling my Santa Cruz Blur in the spring. Can't take the risk of (yet) another knock. Or maybe I'm just a chicken. I'll have to be happy with poodling around the Essex country lanes on my road bike instead.
Hey, I was in danger of losing 2 fingers. At least I've still got all 10 wriggling nicely!

I find the rear legroom in my longwheelbase bentley to be just fine...
<runs and hides> :-)

Jon!
Well, I'm dropping them off in Woodbridge, so if it's ok with you I'll borrow it for the day.
