Kylie Minogue - The Showgirl Tour

Well, the concert was magnificent, but the documentary seemed to go missing and was replaced by Richard & Judy?

I felt that some of the older tunes really shone, and will lead me to re-appraise some of her middle period work - Such as "Confide in Me" and "What do I have to do?".

The expected classics like "Can't get you out of my head" were O.K., but other versions I have seen were better.

All in all a great piece of entertainment. I will defintely get the DVD when it comes out.

From what I saw of the concert, I think that I'd have preferred things if Richard and Judy had taken over singing duties as well, leaving La Minogue free to strut around in those ridiculous costumes showing off her butt, waist and legs to best advantage.

From the SMALL amount I saw I'd have to say I'm with Graham on this one.The mad costumes and loads of dancers used to make up for average or worse performances.

For about 5 minutes I was impressed by the sheer spectacle of the stage show and Kylie's small but perfect form. Then I'm afraid I was overcome by the repetitious tedium of the music.

It's a shame that the cameras didn't follow her into her dressing room, though.
