My website is history

Posted by: Mike Sae on 26 May 2003

It looks like my website is no more. I was trying to repair it so I could continue with updates, but alas, the entire site has been wiped out.

I've been unable to upload to my site and was told that my webspace was corrupted. I was then told that deleting my website and reinstalling it would correct the problem.

Deleting my space was easy enough, but I haven't been able to re-upload it.

Any ideas?

Mike.

Hi
I hope you can get your site up and running again but if you can't thanks for taking the trouble putting it up in the first place.

What was the update supposed to be ?

Mike, your website is still working for about 50% on my computer.
The links,'miscellany', and 'the guide' is still working. Only 'What's new' is gone... Frown

Too bad, that another good flat-earth site is gone with the wind(ows).

There was another site, with a few Naim/Royd system pic's, that's been gone for a while. Bummer! (it had a pretty long URL-adress, and something with 'funandmusic' in it.)

Well, good luck Mike. I really hope you can get it back, or maybe build a new site one day.

regards,
Alco Smile

Thanks guys, I'm working to get it back up.

I was hoping to update my site with some general pontificating about life, the universe and everything, but mainly I was planning to add some pics of Dave C's purple Rega Elas, my own Ela MkIs and links to Alco and Brian DiPalma's sites.

I also want to add scanned copies of various hi-fi manuals.

Site is back up. I have to use cuteftp to upload from now on.

Interesting updates to follow soon.

Thanks to all for your support!
