I'm sipping from a full sized bottle but couldn't find the right pic of a '77.

Try some Bladnoch marmalade on your toast in the morning, Scotland's most southerly distillery.
Absolutely delightful

Cool

Just bought a nice bottle of The Balvenie Double Wood, that will last all of two nights.
Also just enquired about a rare ish bottle of Scapa.
Been thinking about that bottle of 1977 all day as well Winker

Crabbie's alcy Ginger beer, with ice and a slice. Very refreshing and as I've just recovered from a virus, well earned. Next time with vodka.

As a mine of abstemeious personal habits I never really bother reading this thread but I've just treated myself to a nice malt, something I do every couple of years when I've either drunk the last one, or it has evaporated.

We have a specialist Whisky shop in Skipton and I asked for something warm and rich but not too smoky/peaty. I like the Lowland malts as a rule, Bladnoch was the last I bought.

They picked out a bottling of Clynelish and I have to say it is the nicest whisky I've ever had. Really rich and complex but almost buttery smooth, a dash of water releases the nicest fragrance.

What a lovely nip. Should last me another few years....

I cannot recall the exact bottling, I shall report back.

Our house is so cold it had gone cloudy last night!

Clynelish can only be found in specialist shops and as bruce said it is absolutely loveley.
Generally it is a very pale straw colour but i think they also produce a sherry cask bottling.
Instead of adding water try putting in a ice cube made with spring water to a large glass swill around and enjoy
Cool Big Grin Big Grin
P.S forgot to add can be expensive as well
