Copying is flattery, so all respect to Tam!

I'm just about to enjoy a bottle of this with Mrs. CD555 ...

Have my parents over for the week and today a special wine tasting is in order.

First up was a 1988 Palmer, I last had a bottle from my secret vault about a year ago and it was fantastic. This one had a little bit of rot around the cork and tasted completely bland - what a shame. Frown

... next up is a 1993 Ornellaia - HEAVEN. Smile

1993, because I'm worth it. Smile

That was the last one from my Ornellaia collection, time for that Italy trip.

An interesting and brain bending blend!

Earlier a bottle [taken slowly] of Stowell's Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, than a quarter of a 0.7 litre of Wyborowa, and to round off a 0.5 litre of Zywiec! Nothing like the challenge of a Bank Holiday for keeping one's nerve on the next day - back at work!
