Copying is flattery, so all respect to Tam!
I'm just about to enjoy a bottle of this with Mrs. CD555 ...
.. while we listen to Portishead – Third.
So, what are you drinking right now?

I just finished a Manhattan made with Knob Creek bourbon. Yum. I noticed the bottle of Caol Ila above. I do like Isla malts. My favorite is Ardbeg (thought Lagavulin and Laphroaig are great, too). The best single malt I ever had was a Connoisseurs Choice Ardbed from 1978 aged 22 years. I still have the bottle in my study (empty). If you ever see a Connoissuers Choice Ardbeg on sale, grab it.

Well, well, you "loads of sack cloth and ashes" Protestants! I rescue the thread with the lovely though that last evening was shared with Pawel, Pani Pawel, and another Pole called for short Mimi, though his name is really Michael [in English]!
Too much Tatra Mocne [Mocne said motzne, and this means Porter Ale at something about 7 ABV], and a specially nice tobacco ...
Rough head this morning, but let us get over that ...
Tonight is quieter after a fairly final running up of the new running gear on the Carlton - new vintage brakes and gear levers, now adjusted to nigh perfection. So a bottle of Orvietto Classico is being chased with a Soave - I love Italian white wine!
Before sunrise tomorrow, will set off for the Malverns on the Carlton to photo the beauties of my environs!
Jessops open at 10 am! So pictures [film camera, sorry] by noon on the Carlton Thread!

The Soave is even better than the the Orvieto and is being aurally enhanced with the First Partita for Solo Violin by old JS Bach played by Grumiaux!
That is a high ABV combo!
