Copying is flattery, so all respect to Tam!
I'm just about to enjoy a bottle of this with Mrs. CD555 ...
.. while we listen to Portishead – Third.
So, what are you drinking right now?

Not right now, but on Friday night, the last night of our holiday, had the pleasure of enjoying this at the Marina at Hamble:
Didn't realise that this was the 2008 Supreme Champ Beer of Britain, as I don't have a v. recent Good Beer Guide. But now that I know, I'm not surprised. Fully concur that the "initially malty flavour fades as citrus notes and hoppiness take over, leading to a lasting hoppy, bitter finish" (GBG 2009), though of course I had to have a few to make sure... Really delicious!

Visiting my parents in Germany this weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. Managed to secure the keys to the wine cellar and laid out the tasting menu.
The below got 100 Parker points at the time and is truly one of the finest I ever had. We just finished a bottle of the 1990.
Before that we had a 1991 Chateau Margaux - again a 100 Parker point wine, but in comparison a disappointment.
Next up a 1990 Palmer ... Should be another treat.

I was lucky Oliver as I used to make up Wine Lists for a living and got to taste some high quality wines as well as get them dirt cheap.
The case of Mouton Rothschild cost me nothing but unfortunately Monica can't drink Red wine so I had to give away all my Clarets (LaTour, Ducru Beaucaillou, Batailley, Lafite, Talbot, Petrus etc etc etc and one of my favourites Chateau Cissac.
So now usually I drink only cheap white plonk.
Sad days when they all went.
I even gave a friend who is a painter a case of Taylors vintage port '75 free for painting my abode.
Woe is me.

Co-op Fairtrade "Columbian" ground coffee, made in the Turkish fashion in a stainless steel pot!
Given up on Moka pots! I cooked my third one to death a few weeks ago!
The coffee is different from a jug-made brew, but actually nicer I think. The issue of leaving a few grains left in the bottom of the cup is no different to the old days of drinking loose-leaf tea.
