Pure One / Elite radios. Any good?

My wife has asked for a DAB radio to take into the garden for listening to mostly radio 4, and the odd bit of music. We have decided, I think, to go for either the Pure One (single speaker, about £50) or the Elite (two speakers and about £70)
Anyone got any views about these?
Thanks very much, Bob

I have a Pure Evoke 2.
It works really well, it is well built, reliable, looks good......... like most things DAB in my opinion the sound quality isn't that good. If I was going to buy another DAB radio however for convenience i'd get another Evoke, no doubt.

Bob,
We bought the pure Evoke 1s for our kitchen, and IMO it is superb. I beleive that the 2 speaker version sounds better still but is not quite so compact and neat, which was important to us. It blows away all your preconceptions of a small tranny - it sounds rich, very tuneful/musical and somehow manages, even though it only has a single speaker, to sound remarkably spacious and room-filling. An excellent buy.

I have a Pure One, for nightime listening. It's very nice and works well. DAB reception is not good in my area, though. Why don't you consider an Evoke Flow? Internet Radio seems much more interesting to me.
