Mingus Big Band

I went to see the above at Hull City Hall last night; they were superb. Apparently they had a nightmare journey over which meant the gig started late so perhaps I did not see them at their best! The ultimate irony is that I intended to see them the last time I was in New York but missed out (for reasons not worth retelling) only to see them in Hull!
