the nice america

i bought a nice cd to get the track america but its a crap recording can anyone recommend a cd by the nice with america on it and a desent recording. thanks

I have the track America on Eleggy ( live version) and on The five bridges (studio version). America on Five bridges is a little bit better as the version from Elegy.
The best version I have is from the Keith Emerson Band live in Palabam |Mantova Italy from 2005 (bootleg)

Is your CD the re-issue of The Thoughts of Emerlist DavJack or is it Elegy or is it the re-issue of Five Bridges Suite. There is a medley of America with Rondo on the Vivacitas Live at Glasgow 2002 reunion album. The recording quality on all, but the last is not spectacular unlike Sir Keith's playing which is always wonderful.

However Here Come the Nice: The Immediate Anthology 3 CD Set is improved over the other offerings thanks to some intelligent re-mastering. If that is not satisfactory then I'm afraid you may not find a really great recording.

just looked on play.com and just to complicate things there is the older five bridges and a 2009 remaster anyone heard the remaster?
