PayPal - a very good news story

Paypal gets some pretty bad press sometimes so I thought I would counter this with a little good news.

I stupidly bought a brand new iPhone on Ebay recently, had it 3 weeks and then Orange permanently blocked it. I had bought a black listed phone.

I got no response to my emails from my seller so I opened a case with PayPal a couple of days ago.

I received an email this morning from PayPal confirming I had won my case and they would offer me a full refund under their payment protection plan.

So PayPal, thank you from a very happy customer.

And yes, I realise now I shouldn't have been tempted by the Ebay offer, lesson learned the hard way I suppose.

Off to the Apple Centre tomorrow for a legit 16GB 3GS.

Seems that its FeaBain that are the problem
Very dodgy sellers & no apparent control by EB seem to make the daily news these days.
But compliments to PayPal if they are as good as you say & do have a real care for customers policy.

Nice to hear some good news from Paypal, and it is nice to see some buyer protection in action. Now if only they would reduce the cost of their service to sellers.
