naim speaker "style"

Posted by: ken c on 16 April 2001

hi, am i alone in preferring the "sloped front" appearance of sbl's and dbl's, and being perhaps a less enthusiastic about straight box designs like intro and credo? hmmm?? i am talking aesthetically here... although i understand that shape also has a sonic purpose in those speakers.

enjoy...

Triangles are less boring than squares, and ellipses are sometimes less boring than triangles (especially with with speakers). Hence, the Credo and Intro are boring, the SBL and DBL are better, but the NBL and new "Vivo" are even better.

hi guys, i get fed up with polls, but do you think this topic (appearance of naim speakers) is worth a poll? of course, to be recursively ridiculous, i could ask this question as a poll --but, i jest...

many thanks for responses so far anyway...

enjoy, whatever speaker you have...

The IBLs are very slim and elegant (the most beautiful Naim speakers),.....

Hockman,

I could not agree with you more.

Bob.
