Connecting a Linn Linto to a Naim NAC 82?

Hi. How would you connect a Linn Linto to a NAC 82? What kind of Interconnect do you need? Do you need to remove the phon0 board from the NAC 82. I am posting this question for someone who has purchased my Linto and he is getting a Loud woosh sound. The Linto should be silent. I think his tonearm cable is terminated with a BNC and he is using a BNC->RCA Adapter, but I am not sure. Please help with suggestions.

The person who purchased my Linto has the Linto plugged connected to the phono input of the NAC 82, with the Board still in place. That must be adding gain on top of gain! I don't know much about a Naim pre-amp, but I don't think that is right.
