Can anyone recommend a good dog for a household with an allergy-sufferer?
Posted on: 01 October 2006 by nicnaim
Mr Bear,
Some friends got one of these for that very reason, as they have two asthma/alergy sufferers. The breed is Bichon Frise. The only drawback is that you have to become a hairdresser!

Any of these should be ok and you won't need a pooper scooper and plastic bag. On the downside they are a bit lacking in 'man's best friendishness'

Michael,
When I was a young lad and very close to where I lived, there was a Old English Sheepdog just like yours called Tiny, he was a very boisterous dog, until that is, they had all his hair cut-off, it didn't half calm him down.
Is this why you've had your dog clipped?

Charlie is also a very boisterous dog, but nothing calms him down except overeating and even then not for long. He is also a very hot dog, hence the haircut...

Think I've posted this before, it's Jinty, our toy poodle and her favourite ball, she's thirteen now but still acts like a wee pup! Mind you age is getting to her - cataracts glazing over, ear/nose infections where she can't stop sneezing white bogies everywhere (nice), and on top of all that arthritis.....metacalm has given her a new lease of life though!!
Oh, and that's Bennachie and a (totally over-exposed) sunset in the background....
Cheers,
Ali

This is not my dog, but a stray who lives on my property. I take turns feeding her with the neighbor. Don't know her name, but I know she's a girl, so I call her "Princess". Pretty corny huh ? She loves to go for walks and to roll over for tummy rubs. Sorry about the poor image quality, took it with my $15.00 Wal-Mart Special............................Big Brother

Tiddles - just after he'd used an SBL as a scratching post, and got a hot poker up his arse.
