running in nac552, some questions
Posted by: Ulrich Hohn on 01 September 2002
Does everyone have to be running in for the used sockets?
With the Nac52 had I its own Supercap for the Prefix. I connected into the first weeks, in whom I did not hear records, the Nat01 with socket for the Scap/prefix. My Nac52 was outstanding brought in.
Now prefix with snaic socket number 7 is the Nac552 connected. Is there adapter with which I
can connect the 180 degree socket of the tuner to the 240 degree socket of the Nac552?
- and is this at all to recommend?
Does it make for running in a difference whether one plays with the tuner with volume 10 o'clock or
12 o'clock?
Mine preamp is switched on for 25 days. Of it the record player played about 50 hours. The remaining time played the tuner. My Nac552 does not go with the record player yet as well as the Nac552 on the
demonstration.
This Nac552 was used before by Naim themselves and by the magazine Stereoplay. What better do the
professionals make when running in than I?
