Posted by: Gunnar Jansson on 21 October 2006

I thought I share this one with you.

Released this week in Sweden, not any idea if gets abroad or not. (Probably not getting any press outside Sweden) On their own Moule recordings.

Fire In The Hole Sara Isaksson and Rebecka Törnqvist sing Steely Dan.

samples:

Article (sorry bout it´s beeing in swedish):

I like it a lot! Very sparse arranged. Mainly just the two very accomplished singers and their keyboards and the SONGS.

To Fred Simon: I gather you´ll like this one.

I heard a song from this album on the radio today - beautiful! Mostly Sara Isaksson singing on that track.

If you email them directly they might help you

Info@moule.se

I would try that. You might be able to buy it directly from them.
Otherwise I think you know better how to get hold of that record were you are in Brittain.

Jan.
Buy it with confidence.

Hope you can get it through them.
Wouldn´t surprise me.
Otherwise it might be some way through the net or import through your record store.
Anyway, I hope it works out.

I received a copy of this from Sweden today but haven't ordered it from anywhere. Are you the kind donor? I can't think of where else it could have come from.

This CD has been mentioned (and highly rated) by contributors to the "Official" Steely Dan Fanzine The Dandom Digest ....there can be no higher praise!

Blimey - they look a bit cuter than Fagen and Becker!! How come these Scandinavian women are always so darned ugly?

Might try and get this one if the rest of the CD is as good.

It's absolutely wonderful on a cheap Sony midi system, so when i get back in my house next week and set up the naim kit I would expect it would go up a notch or two.

Still don't know who sent it Winker

LOVERLY

diccus

ps. Jet you won't like it as it has female lead singers and won't make you deaf Big Grin

This CD sounds really interesting. I found it on the swedish site cdon.com.

If you press the euro flag, you can register and order in english, which is much easier than guessing what the swedish may mean! Under Euro 20 including post to the UK. I'll look forward to it.

Better a freebie from your fans though!!

Now that I have figured out how to mail order from overseas, I got mine today. Truly outstanding, and I am definitely the first on my block to have it!

Thanks Munch, I think you might like this record, its really stripped down to the basics...... a little reminiscent of your favourite 'the great lake swimmers'. If you adore Steely Dan like me then even better.
