Any of you know a good source for bootleg music. I am trying to get hold of some Led Zeppelin bootlegs that are getting rare. I have all the proper releases.

you might try this

You'll have to join to enter, but once you have, you'll be able to search for traders that have Led Zeppelin stuff.

I have a number myself, so feel free to e-mail me too.

A quick search on google turned up the following list http://members.aol.com/Unbrchain/write.html

I have never had a problem with bootlegs from a moral perspective, the buyers tend to have all the comercial releases already so no one is really loosing out. Pirates are a totally different thing. Bootleg quality is usually pretty ropy though. Might be worth searching for MP3s etc as they would probably be free.

I would disagree with this statement. Its always trotted out whenever the media or industry discuss bootlegging.

Yes it can be true, but there are plenty of very good quality bootlegs out there.

In the old days when you had cassettes and the wonderful LP, there were plenty of really bad recordings, badly mastered and copied into oblivion.

But today with small High quality recording rigs available at reasonable prices, and the computer for msatering and buring to that old devil the CD, the general quality of bootlegs have inproved imensley.

The quality of the audience recordings that I've heard of the recent Radiohead tour for instance have been better than some of the Radio concerts.

There are some really excellent Led Zeppelin bootlegs I can assure you.
