Saw Australian Pink Floyd at RAH on Monday performing DSOTM & the usual Hits! (Astronomy Domine was Terrific)

The Petite Backing Singer (of 3) who ah ah'd "Great gig in the Sky" had a great pair of lungs (in both senses of the word) Smile

I think the APF lead guitarist had been out with the 'Western Australian roof drinking association' when he said "this next song is for Steve Rourke"?? He then corrected himself and sheepishly Smile said "That's Steve O'Rourke"

I have just checked the web site and a mixture Good/Bad news has happened recently.

30 Oct - Steve O'Rourke had a Fatal Stroke

7 Nov - Dave Gilmour receives CBE from Her Majesty

14 Nov - Steve O'Rourkes Funeral

A funeral for Steve O'Rourke was held today at Chichester Cathedral in West Sussex. In a private tribute to a good friend, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason, and Roger Waters performed together. From what we understand The Great Gig in the Sky and Fat Old Sun was played. Dick Parry participated as well.

18 Nov

Oscar-nominated composer, conductor and arranger Michael Kamen died this morning after suffering from multiple sclerosis for several years, his agent said. He was 55.

Johan,

As I only speak fluent Cockney and a smattering of B*ll*cks, can you translate.

Do they perform Roger Waters Solo stuff as well and tour the UK?

The Band looks young and hip with the bonus of the ABBA Tribute Backing Singers Smile

Denis!

There isn't much information even if one reads "the language of heroes and gods". Sorry, I can't answer your questions.
