Naim DAC

Be good if anybody going to the first roadshow in Stroud this Thursday could report their impressions of the Naim DAC on the forum - some pictures would be nice as well Smile
Looks like this won't be the final production version as Naim refer to the "latest iteration" on the roadshow website.

I think we can take that as a yes, but I'm sure it makes more sense to put it in a shoebox, and suspend it like the Superline. IMO, I think the only reason the existing (well, not yet) DAC has a larger footprint is the transformer, which is superfluous if you're powering from 555PS/XPS2?

Not superfluous–transformer still required with external supply, as HDX / CD5 XS, etc.

Dealer told me somewhat about 3 different DACs, the one we see now is the mid- series... Not sure if he has all infos... He said as well that there will be 3 lines of speaker , S600 is midsize... Guess we will see all by year end...
