piezo dampers to cancel out vibrations?

Piezoelectric ceramics are cool. They convert mechanical energy (vibration for instance) into electrical energy.
So.... How difficult/feasible would it be to use piezo dampers instead of spikes/rubber bits/ etc. to isolate our kits from vibration? You can even tune them to damp specific frequencies using standard resistors!
Has anyone come across an application of piezo-electric damping in the hi-fi world?
In stands or in components? Just curious....
