Cruise the streets with the windows full down and the White Stripes full up

It will be in the car cd on the way home as ordered - although the concept of cruising on the M26 at 6 tonight does amuse me!

Let us know what you think of the Mew and Daniel Lanois albums. I listened to the a bit of the Mew album on the HMV listening post and quite liked it even if the guy has the campest voice you could imagine. Also I like Daniel Lanois other albums, but could not find Shine cheaper than £14.99 (ouch) so I bought 'The Hidden Cameras', and some sale stuff instead.
'Elephant' is good but not as good as some would lead you to believe, not as good as White Blood Cells IMO.

The Lucinda Williams is on it's way from Amazon at the mo.
My brother advises that there is a very ill judged rap on there, and one or two other very odd tracks. It will be interesting to see what it turns out like!

dont know about the choice of music, but your spot on with the DVD.
Watched all 3 this weekend - bloody brilliant (accept for abismal sync)also forgot where Big Audio Dynamite found there intro's from, until I watched Good bad ugly.

re Lucinda Williams post above;
My brother is clearly deaf or demented or both.
Hardly a 'rap' attempt, just kind of talking over the music.
As Dobbin says in the other thread, very good album.
Regards,
Steve.

Stephen,
I was waiting for the rap too - bit disappointed when it didn't (quite) happen. LW in baggy pants with reverse baseball cap and crappy gold chains would be sight wouldn't it!
I must have listened to Righteously a dozen times yesterday. What a song!
