Celine Dion - should I or shouldn't I?

I was sitting in a dress shop while my wife tried on several outfits this afternoon. In the background there was a CD playing a female vocalist I did not recognise so I asked the shop assistant what it was... Celine Dion - Taking Chances. Previously I have avoided her material, but the few tracks I heard seemed quite good. Is it worth buying the album, or did I have a temporary good taste failure?

Dave, I suggest next time you're both in the shop, your wife takes the seat and you try the dress on.

OK, Understood. My wife's usually a jeans and T-Shirt kinda girl. I must have been overcome by the site of her in a dress!

I knew it was a mental abheration - the thought has been purged from my mind. Last day of Easter holiday, the wife's out all day so time for some serious listening - promise no long faced Canadians!

I'm 6'5" and 280lb, she's 5'2" and much lighter - it would never work! Not that I'm in to that sort of thing anyway

SWMBO bought a BluRay of her concert in Las Vegas and I quite like some of it. It's certainly a superbly staged concert.

Go for it don't listen the Musical Misogynists :P on this forum some of these guys think what I listen to is rubbish, can you believe that, so if I listened to them I'd be listening to Blues, the Blues & and well more of the Blues.
