night listening better?

I've noticed over the past few years that any hifi system seems to sound significantly better at night/in the evening...any ideas why, or is it purely psychosomatic?

I don't want to get divorced for the sake of a stereo (now, if I was at the CDS3/552/500 level....) Wink

Mrs Alex is very understanding of my mania.

Which is a relief, given the amount of disposable income I have recently disposed of.

Although my wife has no interest in hifi, she has no interest in kids either - and you don't keep paying for a hifi for 18 years only to be told "I didn't ask to be born" etc Big Grin

How likely is it that she will freak out? You may be suprised by her reaction

There still is time to get flu symptoms....

To be honest she'll probably laugh and say "yeah, whatever". I certainly hope so as it does sound a *lot* better now!
