Anyone using a RSS reader?

Hi all

Now that Yahoogroups have a new unusable interface, I thought I should look to getting feeds via RSS. Can anyone recommend something for the PC (And Mac I guess) that will display messages in ful when clicked on. (I tried one but it just displayed a preview and you had to double click on that to see the full message - a pain!)

On the mac I use netnewswire lite, which does the job great. A couple of years ago I used to use the bbc news ticker but rss is really much better. You can have it grab the headlines from an excellent range of sites and only visit the ones that are actually worth reading.

I think rss readers are normally only designed to display a preview for just this reason (and don't know of one that would display the entire article). I also think, the amount of information displayed by the news reader is controlled by the site the information is coming from (I see different things from different sites).

Don't know what software to use for the pc, but head over to http://www.versiontracker.com and do a search.

I know it dosn't answer your basic requirement for full preview but RSS feed from macupdate is very nice as it sits in the menu bar.

SharpReader works rather well on my Windows machine and can be found at.
