By the way, I love Changing Rooms & making fun of Lawrence (the only person in the world who paints a room in leather pants) This is where I learn to talk British. Us, Americans ripped off the idea and have a show called Trading Spaces...it's AWFUL!

Also Graham Norton (in small doses) is pretty funny. He has great taste in furniture...

Found it quite moving. Anya was in tears at the end. Drake's music can do that. It was a shame he never said anything.

It was indeed very moving, and beautifully filmed - the landscapes/cityscapes that accompanied the voice-overs and music were like oil paintings.

But at the same time I wanted more insight into the man - though obviously an intensely private person, surely there is more to know?

Perhaps the most striking part of the programme was that brief piece of music they played by Nick's mother - it was eerie how Nick Drake-like it was.

Agree, very moving and most enjoyable. At the end, I still felt that I hadn't really learnt that much about Nick. However, one of the few programs that did provide an insight from the family's perspective.

Not much about other musicians....wasn't there some sort of connection with John Martyn or am I dreaming ?
