I'm suffering terrible withdrawal symptoms:
I've changed my name, I've changed my naim, I've started tweaking and getting all excited about supports. I am in no fit state to nominate replacements - Gawd, stop fishing/working/covert forum operations, come back to your flock, us poor souls need redirection and redemption.

Unfortunately, the NAP500 did not reach the minimum ten votes required to be voted in as temporary -=>Mike<=-

I asked it if it was disappointed but all it said was a very quiet "ssssssssss." In retrospect, I'm not at all sure it was really a suitable candidate.

Luckily, in my last act as temporary part-time -=>Mike<=-, I hereby appoint Jonathan Ribee to the post, because he is eminently qualified:

Jonathan's recent signature:

Jonathan is not available for comment at the time of writing, but all the other candidates are/were.

The much travelled kangaroo flipped it's mullet in a manner that told me exactly what it thought of my decision before hopping off to have a bath.

Vuk's cat stared and pouted contemptuously before turning tail and heading for Mr Pig's barnyard where it scared the living daylights out of Stallion's Rottweiler and Dobermann - not to mention a flock of kiwi.

I asked Python if he was disappointed, and he replied, "Yessssssssssss." He seemed about to strike but, at the last moment, transmuted back into BD (his humanoid form), mumbled something about having more important things to do than being a candidate in a pointless forum election and left rather abruptly.

Joe's crocodile has just arrived. It seems to be looking at me rather attentively. In fact, I'm convinced its eyes are twinkling just as little. And its smile is becoming, almost imperceptibly, wider and wider. Well, I'm certainly glad it's taken my decision so well - I know how much it wanted the job...

It must really be happy - it's crept a tiny bit closer, now, and it's smiling so much that I can see some of its teeth...
