Kraftwerk: NOTEBOOK

Has anyone got or seen the "Notebook" edition of the "Minimum Maximum" DVD?

It's a superb set - it includes a double DVD, a double CD, a fantastically uninformative book and a laptop-style box with a lenticular lid.

The picture and sound quality of the DVD is magnificent by the way - highly recommended.

I just got the basic dvd as I already splashed out on the lovely vinyl box set.

Anyhow, the 5.1 is absolutely stunning. Right from the first intro it is a spellbinding set. I saw them at Brixton last year and it is a brilliant reminder of just how great they are live. The bass is room shaking and the dts tricks really add to the visuals. Totally recommended. The fathers of electronic 'dance' show that they have lost none of their edge.

How much is the Notebook edition. I hope not too cheap because it wasn't in the shop when I picked up the standard version (£15 at fopp). I am adding and subtracting. Roll Eyes

I have the notebook edition amd it is a substantial premium on the separate items (cheapest I found it was about £40).

The full size hardback book you get with it is, as previously described, uninformative but does carry a large number of full colour photographs from the tour - if you like you cover art closer to lp size it may be worth the premium.

I agree with previous comments about the DVD. I find it totally mesmerising - superb visual quality and the best 5.1 sound I have heard. Stunning.
