nap 150 upgrade to nap 250

I have a nap 150/nap 175v cinema set up.Is it sensible to upgrade the 150 to a 250 power amp ,with a medium term view to upgrade the front L/R speakera.Presently I have B&W CM2s,AV2,DVD5....and a big plasma screen.I also listen to music and am thinking musically it would improve with a nap250.Am I right?

Yes a 250 will be brilliant for both music and HT, however you need to be able to power it with a *cap.

This is not so. The Flat/HiCaps are used to power a non self-powered preamplifier NOT a power amplifier.

Therefore (the AV2 being self-powered) you can add the NAP 250 - no worries.
