Can Archives

Great news for all Can fans- Irmin Schmidt has announced he is digitising the archives ready for release in early 2011, 20-30hrs of music in the archives-will be a series of Cd's from Mooney, Damo and post Damo era Can. Soundtracks and live recordings as well.

How many Cd's (likely only a few) and in what format-single disc, box set etc not announced/confirmed.
All the rest may well be put on internet for download

Awesome news, I can't wait!

One thing I would love to see a reissue of is Can's BBC sessions (Tape Kebab, Bakerloo Line, Back To BB City, etc) which are awesome and which I only have on rather lo-fi vinyl bootlegs.
