How come this thread got more hits than this thread. Has Diabate got more pulling power than Last of the summer wine - what is the world coming too.

The Theatre in Holmfirth gets some fantastic acts. My parents live there and I never cease to be amazed by the names on the billboard when I'm up visiting.
For such a small out of the way place they must have one hell of an organisation team. Then again maybe its some half mad fanatic who has the balls to ring some of the top acts around and ask them to come along to this beautiful corner of the north.
Jonathan (Wishing he'd seen HMHB and Billy Bragg there last year)

I stayed there once many years ago, i think we were at a stadium gig for REM and it was a lovely little village.
