Didn't vote - as I have no clue.
Do you have two spare 140ies?
I am replying because I got the Kef 100 center myself, it's in the non naim av system and wanted to ask how it integrates. Furthermore have you tested to biwire it? If yes with which results? Have you used it with a single amp, too?
How is the synergy with the b&w's? Had B&W's myself (cdm 9) and to my memory the bass was a little boomy and slow - how's your experience?
Regards

I have one 140 currently biamping my Kef 100 centre and it all works very well with my 250 driving the front Yamahas
The voicing on the Kef is not quite as bright as the Yamahas but the Yamaha and the B&W CDM SNt rears are very similar. However I am currently driving the B&W with a very old (22year) Technics Concise Seies Power Amp.
I am thinking of buying either a second hand Naim 250 or two second hand 140's to drive the rear B&W

Hi Eddie!
you certaily thought about it, too. Buying a pair of 140ies leaves you with a 140 triple - so you could go active with them later on with a 3way speaker - the 250 giving the option for a 2 way top flite active system.
The B&W's are designed for biamping, are they?
A nice (and tempting) option you have.
Are the yamahas 2 or 3 way?
I think I'd go for the 140 pair.

The Yamahas are a Classic three way infinite baffle high quality monitor but are from an era before active was common. They are also about 22 years old but are still sounding superb with my CDX/XPS 82 250
The standard cross overs only have one pair of spring clip terminals for speaker cable connection but I have just bought a spare set of crossover networks which I am currently modifying with some beefy terminal posts. I'm not planning to go active though as one can only fit so many naim boxes in a room.
Although the B&W's are provided with two pairs of terminals for biwiring/biamping I'm not convinced that a pair of 140's will give better results than a 250.
Hence the dilema

1 Nap250 for the fronts, and 2 Nap 140 for the rears????
I am not sure to understand everything... :-)
If i were you, i would buy just 1 Nap 140 for the rears and i would save money in order to buy 2 more Nap 140 or (Nap 180) to amplify active fronts.(In a 5-way system, centre and fronts are used at most!).

How do you connect the Tag Av32 to the rest of the system?
And how the Tag Av32 cost? Did you compare it with the Naim Av32?

I bought the Tag a good year before the Naim AV2 was released. I gave up waiting for Naim to join the 21st Century. - they still have not managed to release a DVD Player
I connect the front left and right main speaker outputs into the VCR input on my 82 and route the output through the hicap to the 250
The centre output on the Tag AV32 which is a single Phono socket is connected by means of a special Chord interconnect - single phono plug to 4 Pin DIN cable to the NAP 140. One channel of the NAP 140 feeds the Kef 100 tweeter the other channel feeds the bass/midrange driver.
I could use two similar cable to connect a pair of NAP 140's to drive the rear surronds. Alternatively I could use a 2 phono to 4 pin DIN cable to feed the left and right surround outputs into a single NAP 140 or get a 2 phono to 3 pin XLR to feed the left and right rear surronds into a single NAP 250.

uhhh...
Special thanks to The Chord Company.
Charles
ps: I already found the connections between AV2 and Naim System a bit hard....
