Don't forget the transit bolts and don't let the removal men get their hands on it. Take it in your car.

Don't worry the removal men are not getting anywhere near it. I am going to move the sistem myself. The Neats are going in the back of the Jeep with plenty of padding!

I hope that you have kept all the boxes that the toys arrived in - the boxes are designed to keep the toys in good shape when handled by Mick P's chaps.
Also consider the insurance implications in your car might give you less cover than in the removal van. However with Hiscox I think that all your chattels are covered who ever is shifting them

HI Derek,
I have been a good boy and kept all my boxws. They have been in my store room at work.
I will check the insurance point but I think you are right the goods are covered in transit but I will check before I set off.
Looking forward to plenty of pork pies

I thought you were moving to get close to the petfood.
Re Insurance - compare the excess you are liable for when the kit is in your car compared to the carrier taking all the stuff over to petfood heaven

My Hi-fi is covered by Hiscox as long as I pack it securely, I have a £250 excess on the Jeep but I would still prefer to take it myself. I am not worried about the costs, I don't want anyone else handling it!
