Watched the new Samsung 3D blu ray palyer and 3D tv,

If this is the future I WANT IT.

Fabulous.

So i want to get a 3D projector in the future. Just need some decent movies and 3D TV is on its way too.

The future looks bright it looks Blu Ray.

Does that TV use the LCD shutter system in the glasses?

I saw the Sony and thought it was pants. Total rubbish. Maybe I didn't get a good demo.

Agreed. Saw a Sony demo the other day and despite being the latest and greatest 3D tech, it was utterly underwhelming. I don't want to hear a thing about 3D until I don't need to use glasses to see it and it looks real rather than a headache inducing HD pop-up book.

I have embraced Blu-Ray and all things home theatre but 3D does nothing for the experience to me.

Until I don't have to wear the glasses and people are running around my livingroom am not really that bothered. If its as good as Sky hd then I can live with out it.

Where do you even buy a 3d disc ? are they released yet ?

There is only one movie available and a couple of demo discs.

But you will be pleased to hear that PLAYBOY will be early adopters so porn enthusiasts will be well served.

Here in Aus major sporting events will be go in June/july on Digital TV.

Seriously the demo's i watched on sunday on Samsung gear were very good.

Frank i believe the answer is yes.

SONY dem here in sydney was on a PSĀ£ and was not too hot i hear. PS3 does not do proper 3D apparently.

The only system running now is the Samsung.

But in US Panasonic and Sony have stuff running and for sale.

Software is the problem now.

The future will be high res multichannel HD Blu Ray 3D.

So sound quality and picture should be fabulous.

Hopefully wont go the way of DVD A.

So Yup i will go down this route in the not too distant future.

By that time you'll probably need glasses to see anything.

Big Grin

Better to get a load of machines that can play every current disk before introducing another complication.
And I'm a blu ray fan.
