Label Comparisons

i'm curious as to whether there is a consensus on which label is the better recording.
in example, i ordered the following Cure album off amazon:
apparently there are 2 labels from which to chose.
one from the UK:
# Audio CD (May 2, 2005)
# Original Release Date: April 26, 2005
# Number of Discs: 2
# Format: Deluxe Edition, Import
# Label: Universal UK
# ASIN: B0007SM9Y0
and one from the US:
# Audio CD (April 26, 2005)
# Original Release Date: April 26, 2005
# Number of Discs: 2
# Format: Extra tracks, Original recording remastered
# Label: Elektra / Wea
# ASIN: B0007XT8A8
both are remastered deluxe editions with the same number of tracks on 2 discs.
i opted for the UK label b/c i'm of the mindset the UK studios have the better ear.
but is there a real difference??
