There is no reason why a SNAPS cannot power the Headline, I'm not sure though whether the SNAPS will first need the 'dual-rail' mod to make it fully Hicap pinout compatible.

It should easily outperform the NAPSC.

IIRC the Headline only uses one rail of the PSU, for some unfathomable reason.

The NAPSC is a simple small (inexpensive relatively wink)supply for feeding the digital bits of some preamps.

The SNAPS is one of the earlier Naim PSU's, in a half width, half depth case - very dinky. It uses the NAP110 mains transformer so it's still a conservatively rated unit for pre-amp useage.

They have two 24V feeds originally intended to power two items (preamp / active crossover) via 4 pin SNAICS.

They are easily modified to add a 5 pin DIN, using the two 24v rails to feed a '.5' modded or later preamp.

With a recap slight mod they are every bit the equal of a Flatcap.
