Help please!! HDX update question.

Hello Naimees,

My HDX is at a retailer at the moment and they say that the new software update will erase all the music from it.

Is that true? I saw something about playlist being deleted...but not the whole music.

The other question is how can I find the software the retailer is asking from me. I have forgotten to give them the CD with Desktop client and IP tool. They said that it is needed for them to complete begin with the instalation. I remember downloading the newest version from this site but now I can't find it anywhere.

Hi Brando

The 1.5a update does not erase any music. Playlists are though.

The dealer should not need the Desktop Client or IP tool. They should have four discs for the upgrade - disc one has the Desktop client and documentation on it..

It looks they have found the solution to the problem.

It was done very quickly. Should pick it up tomorrow.
