To whoever is responsible for this Livecloud stuff

It's a pain in the posterior, and the least I would have expected is a mail informing me that a change was imminent, and what I had to do to be able to log in again.
Displeasedly yours,

What is it? I noticed it this morning when posting a reply via my iphone in Cambridge. I thought it was something to do with the iphone wi-fi thing, but no wi-fi was on.
It was a painless log-on though, to be fair.

Just spent 10 minutes going round in circles.
I'm still not sure how I got back on.
This place is falling apart in more ways than several.

BLOODY RIDICULOUS!!
No warning. I spent 10 minutes trying to log in to Live Cloud after reading the T & C's. Couldbn't get pass go due to continuous 'Stack Overflow' errors and refusal to recognise that I had accepted the T & C's. Eventually got here by going to 'Live Cloud's web site, creating a new identity on their insistence, and managing to login there.
Hooray now I see the familiar pages.
Admins you are in trouble. I suspect quite a lot of folks will give up and send angry e-mails.
Not happy

Well, I had fun today as well...
In the end I had to delete all cookies, history etc.. in order to get it to "take".
Sorry about the lack of a warning. I only just received a mail myself and no warnings about any possible difficulty in getting on the forum so beyond my control I'm afraid.

Richard, could we please have an bold-type notice at the top of each of our forums for a couple of days please.
I had the same fuss this morning - had difficulty in entering password. Thought I had forgotten it. Asked to be sent another - never arrived.
Finally got in to the hifi forum - no mention of it. Didn't look in padded cell. I found the explanation on Pink Fish!
So a work of explanation might be soothing for those who have not tried to log on today yet.
Thanks
Don, sunny downtown York

I'm sorry but people you employ shouldn't activate changes that involve 3rd parties ie us having to remove and change stuff on our computers.
Eve or whatever has a bad habit of changing stuff and causing problems.
I don't know how to remove history or cookies etc, I bought the copmpter as plug and play.
End rant.

BigH47,
if you are using Windows, go to Control Panel and then select Internet Options. There you will see the options for deleting history and Cookies. You may not need to do this, but typically I did...
I understand your frustration but most all forums are hosted by a 3rd party and they are always making changes - hopefully for the better! Would have been good to have had an earlier warning though....

OK Markus, that's fine. Clearing cookies or log-in via a "clean" browser seems to do the trick. Otherwise, it's business as usual as far as I can see...

Richard
I got so p****d off I built a completely clean virtual machine to see what was going on.
If Naim are paying for a service I can see no possible excuse for not getting notice of scheduled changes.
Therefore you could put notice of these events on the forum before the fact, and save this aggravation.

I have nothing else to add that hasn't been said already, but just throwing my hat into the ring
(as Steve Hopkins knows via my 4 emails trying to work out what to do after dead end after dead end ...)

John,
I understand your frustration and it is shared here.
I sincerely apologise for your aggravation, however, as I stated above, the first warning mail I received arrived only this morning. This after my own aggro...
Nap-ster, I'll take one of those, I think...

I could not get on the forum at all, with I.E Firefox was no problem! without deleting anything?

Tried a couple of times this moring without success. Felt sure naim would get it sorted, (which they obviously did.)
Tried again a few moments ago, having forgotten there was a problem, and just gained access as if nothing had ever happened - ie I didn't do anything new - at least, not that i'm aware of!!
Cheers

Worked fine for me, maybe it's all sorted now.
Had to remember the password, and accept the T&Cs but otherwise no problems. So far anyway.

I can get on fine now, but still keep getting "stack overflow" messages? I just keep ignoring them and it seems to work.

Gary,
Try this:
log out of the forum. CLOSE all open IE windows. Delete cookies and temp files. Open a new browser window, log back in and report if you get a stack overflow message or not.
regards,
dave
P.S. I still get stack overflow messages but ONLY if I log out and log back in during the SAME browser session.
