To whoever is responsible for this Livecloud stuff

It's a pain in the posterior, and the least I would have expected is a mail informing me that a change was imminent, and what I had to do to be able to log in again.
Displeasedly yours,

My! Don't folk get het up over the most minor of things!
I fiddled around for a bit trying to log on & somehow the Forum suddenly hove into view with no apparent effort on my part.
Tell the truth, I'd forgotten all about it 'till I read this topic.
Oh, and your very nice explanation on how to log on now won't be much help if you can't log on Richard!

I don't know what you guys are talking about. For a completely unrelated reason, I reinstalled firefox today. I started it and clicked on the forum's bookmark. I was asked for my password and it worked straight away
Sometimes technology seems a bit too much to handle but I think the reaction we are seeing from the less fortunate forum members shows us how dear this forum is to our hearts.

Oh my god, this has taken me all day and if someone asked me how I fixed it I have no idea.
I can confirm 15 emails from livecloud were sent to me all at once this evening.
After it all I had to log in with the user name and password I stated from before it went to 'eve'
I hope naim don't pay a lot for this software.

Nothing has been deleted from this thread by me. Deletion only occurs where it has been either requested by the poster, or there is something slanderous, malicious, banned etc.. in the discussion. Well Informed, well argued and reasoned criticism is never deleted by me.
What did it say, or is best I don't know....?

Well, Richard, if I may put this politely....the post in question wasn't particularly complimentary about Naim.
So, my apologies.
I'm still not happy about the way this Live Cloud thing has been handled, but I probably could have expressed it better. Not the best timing, as I job interview today, so I was a bit cranky this morning...

Not something to worry about 24 or 48 hours on, I am sure ...

I don't think I did all that great, to be honest, Don. It was my first interview for a while...ahh well, hopefully I'll find out the outcome next week some time.

Blimey. I've been away a couple of days and missed all of this. Not a sniff of a problem here!

You angling for a nomination on the 'smuggest Briton' page??
Posted on: 16 August 2009 by Exiled Highlander
Never missed a beat...mind you, I have been in the Cairngorms all weekend battling torrential rain, the odd gale, soaking hiking gear, a limping dog....but I am now feel great. Who cares about having to battle the Tube tomorrow!quote:You angling for a nomination on the 'smuggest Briton' page??
Do I win JWM?
Cheers

Managed to log in as per usual!! Log in box has the usual look with the addition of LiveCloud logo in top corner. Perhaps I was lucky, not that au-fait with IT issues. Like BigH47 panic when computers are not "plug and play".

It's OK you can do that (in New Zealand).
Remember that a dog is not just for Christmas ... with luck there will some left for Boxing day.
