Since making them a subject of a question within the New Fangled Pop Quiz thingy discussion I have been listening to their "In Search of Plaice" recording almost every day - it is so seriously laid back space rock sort of whatever. Awesome stuff.

Search them out.

Bye for now...

Nice one - and welcome to the world of Naim.

My stand out tracks are Wyrd Romance and O.W.V and of course Making Love on the Telephone from the Travellers Aid Trust lp.

What happened to you guys?

All the best

Basically financial pressures. Touirng got more and mroe expensive , particularly in Britain, and the record co was bankrupted by the failure of major labels to pay their bills on time taking about a dozen acts with it.

We decided to make it a studio only operation. Banny one of the guitarists gave up playing much of the time to concentrate on PA work ,Alf the keys player, is now a f/t engineer in a studio , Tim the bass player runs a music shop.
Jerry the other guitar player does mainly session work.

Sad story, but one repeated , i'm sure, with many bands. As you get older you have to pay the bills.

I'm working on an Album with a lass from Vegas plays piano and guitar that sorta sounds like Kate Bush/Curve/Garbage having an argument with NiN.

It's almost finshed, but for the vocals on one song and problem with a Piano sound on another track

I found Tubilah Dog via the Jerry Richards connection.

I shall keep an eye or should that be ear open for the album. Hope it does well.
