A thank you to Warner Bros
Posted by: count.d on 23 April 2010
I just wanted to bring to light, the good service I received from Warner Bros in the US.
In December they released the ltd edition Neil Young 4lp vinyl box set 1-4. They had problems with some of the initial pressings and my box was one of them. However, this was cleared up fast by them sending me free individual replacements. In the email to me, I was also promised some free lp's for the trouble.
On a major forum in The States, many people slated the service and some of them aimed their anger at one particular person within Warner. During this period, I went on the forum and said that the guy would be doing his best and that dealing with large corps needs a little more patience than usual.
A couple of months later, I received a package of lps from Warner.....25 lps (most doubles) all new releases and sealed worth £560! (including a Neil Young mono single which was made for promotion only). I've no idea how much it cost to send this weight. I know the American's are known for their service, but..
This post probably won't mean much to you, but I just felt the need to thank Warner publicly.
