TV sound

I bought an ex demo plasma from B & O. Since I hate the sound of B & O (not the screen quality, though), is it possible to watch the news with my Magnepan MMC (4 speakers) and Central Speaker with a Linn Classik Movie I have. I guess when it is TV, only the central speaker would work, but that's fine. Obviously, I'd love to change the Linn to a Naim AV2 + NAPV175 + NAP150x with the best Blu Ray Disc-player on the market.

Yes it is possible - you set the source to TV and you can use any of it's modes such as Phantom. I used to do it, but gave up on it as I couldn't find anything on TV worth watching.

Thank you, ROTF. I fully agree with you that there's nothing on TV. Opera and concerts are other things. I just wanted not to waste money for buying a B & O speaker to be put underneath the plasma, like a 7.40 speaker, that would cost as much as a Magneplanar Central Speaker with 4 side speakers (MMC). I think it must be exciting hearing BBC news with the Magneplanar Central Speaker.
Kind regards,
Patrick.
