Brad Mehldau live?
Posted by: blackforest on 05 February 2006
i wonder if anyone's seen the brad mehldau trio lately as they are supposed to play here in two weeks and i wonder if it's worth going there. (they are playing at the berlin philharmonie so sound should be pretty good!).
? thanks in advance, +blackforest.

I have seen Brad twice. Once at the Village Vanguard in New York and about two years ago in Brighton UK. Both experiences were excellent and I would recommend you see him.

Followed.
I've also seen him twice: Once in a more intimate setup with his (old) trio - Stunning ! and in a concert hall setup, solo - Stunning, again !
Although I was lusting to see him solo (after his fabulous Japan solo CD), I'd prefer to see him in context, next time.
Go, black()forest !!!
cheers

Hi Blackforest,
Saw him live last night in Vicars Street in Dublin.
Front row seat, sublime performance, ranging from beautiful ballads to a soundgarden track.
Some new tracks and quite a few from his latest album.
You'd be a fool to miss the opportunity to see him in his present form on this tour.
