ANYONE HAD A LISTEN TO ONE OF THESE?

I have a Project RPM 4 and I like the sound it makes.
It has recieved several good reviews. The main point running thru' these reports is that the performance out of the box is far more sophisticated and high quality than you have any right to expect based on the low price.
In particular the arm is good enough to take much higher quality MM & MC cartridges than the one that comes with it.
The default cartridge supplied seems to depend on where you buy the turntable and can be either a Grado or an Ortofon MM which does an OK job especially considering it's included in the price.
I have upgraded to a Sumiko Blue Point Special This is a high output MM cartridge which in my opinion has excellent clarity and range.
I am very happy with the sound which I think is good enough to give a sense of why "analog" is better than CD.
Obviously it ain't no LP12!
I am sure the pround owners of those desirable devices would shoot holes in it's perfromance, and they should be unhappy if they can't since the Project is such a low price (It has cost me only 650 pounds to date including the Sumiko cartridge and a Stageline to attach it to my 112 / 150.
It is definitely worth a listen if you can get it.
