Tennis !!!! Boring
Wimbledon !!!! 2 weeks of boring

But SHMBO is "getting even" for me watching that "boring endless" RU, cricket & F1 Cool
Wimbledon weeks are a good excuse for an afternoon pint - provided I can find a soccer free pub

Tennis has been played for hundreds of years. Have the muppets who present BBC Sport gone through the mediaeval rolls before making this claim as to "the longest tennis match in history"? I rather doubt it.

They're doing it on purpose to get in and stay in the Guinness Book of Records

I saw two women fighting at Wimbledon one year - scratching, biting, hair pulling, kicking, rolling around the pathway spitting and tearing at each others clothes. Unfortunately by the time I had cracked open a beer and pulled up a chair it was all over.

I watched the tennis flicking between it & the football, the tennis was boring all about the Big serve, the longest rally was about 4 strokes! I say!

Hmm. Forgive my cynicism but I emailed 50 colleagues in work today including several with an all year round interest in tennis. I asked them to name a result at Wimbledon in week one. No one could. Everyone knee this game but no one could name the players.

It's World Cup time. Wimbledon ain't getting the headlines and won't unless something huge happens. Oh look. It did. Now there's a funny thing!
