Tour de France

Posted by: jjbrinklow on 05 July 2005

Any of you hifi worshipers turned off the black boxes to watch the Tour de France this year.

The first 4 days have been great, and would recommend any one who has not seen it before to watch the highlights on ITV2 at 7 pm every night.

Could be a piece of sporting history in the making. If Lance (I am sure you have heared of him) can make it 7 tour wins in a row and retire on a high history will be made.

He is brillint Maria, and I also hope he makes history, but I really think Formula 1 is the real man's Sport, and requires far more skill and training than silly old pedal bikers do, innit.

Auto racing, bull fighting, and mountain climbing are the only real sports ... all others are games. --- Ernest Hemingway

Perhaps that is what Fritz is getting at?

Nahhh. He's stirring.

Despite being a cyclist I find most of the tv coverage of the TDF incredibly boring, except for the mountain stages.
