Iran crisis.....

The story has been changed by the freed Britain's sailors about their capture by the IRG only after days of arrival in the UK. Why not on the first day of their arrival?....They got text in front of them for the press conference!.
They went to defense ministry before that and it was a dictated story by Blair's government. Shame on you Mr. Blair.
If they were captured in the Iraqi waters, why don't you charge Iran entering Iraqi water to detained the sailors?..someone must be cross the border.....

Surely you don't expect the truth about what the military is up to?
"The media want to maintain their intimate relation to state power. They want to get leaks, they want to get invited to the press conferences. They want to rub shoulders with the Secretary of State, all that kind of business. To do that, you've got to play the game, and playing the game means telling their lies, serving as their disinformation apparatus. -Noam Chomsky
etc

Because they first needed to be debriefed? See their families?

No chance they could have written it themselves, I suppose...

It was? Any proof?

To avoid escalation in a sensitive part of the world.

It shouldn't be that way, they should be a press conference straight away or at least just informal TV interview by reporter. But I saw in the TV when the reporter interview the Lt. the moment they arrived and the story haven't changed. This is a sensitive issue of the country, in the military...family or country first?quote:They got text in front of them for the press conference!.

Do they need someone to write for them for all the info. They carries so much infos and no other person who knows better than them. It should came out free flow from their experience while been detained. They already know the coordinate when they are captured not to refer to the text.quote:They went to defense ministry before that and it was a dictated story by Blair's government.

Proof?...all these while the Britain/US are lying about invasion of Iraq. I won't surprise if they did once again this time.quote:If they were captured in the Iraqi waters, why don't you charge Iran entering Iraqi water to detained the sailors?..someone must be crossed the border.....

Nope, because Britain doesn't have any proof and if they do they will definitely put more aggression into this matter. This also could be a "strong" reason for them to put Iran into military treatment. Even the UN in the beginning are reluctant to back Britain at the first place, only after long discussion..but that also not that strong remark from UN to Iran. Go figure....
cheers

The obviously traumatised hostages who underwent two weeks of brutal torture at the hands of mad, barely human Islamic mullahs holding up their hands to show how their fingers nails have been torn out - a spokesman for the doctors who are treating the brave service people for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome says that due to vicious reprogramming techniques and savage beatings the sailors and Royal Marines are all denying the holocaust. A spokesman for Saville Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes said 'this is an outrage'. (er ...well it sells newspapers)'The Daily Mail'

Does anyone know how the recently deployed in Iraq Patriot anti-missile system can possibly be used against insurgents and why America has two aircraft carrier groups in the area?

Like one of those joke things, but without the laughing bits.
Full statement.

Why should it be that way? They are Service Personnel, not random blokes down the pub.

Country first, like I've said above they are service personnel.

So you have no proof and are just guessing.

Nope, because Britain doesn't have any proof
Not only another guess, but you discount the hostages statements that they where in international waters.

Are you seriously suggesting that the UK wants to act militarily against Iran?

Not noticing that the UK is not at war with Iran?

I doubt Iranian armed servicemen if captured in our waters would have been better treated. One could have been roughed up more on a TA escape & evasion exercise. Of course how many 'well informed' members of the Daily Mail Readers Club (DMRC)on this ere forum know about the Iranian Diplomats arrested in Iraq?

Not sure about the DMRC but I feel pretty sure that one or two here know that some non-Brits where captured by some other non-Brits in a land that is not Britain, but did not feel the need to discuss it.
Frightfully British, IMO.

New video from Iran shows the sailors have their meals in big hall, play chess with friends and play ping-pong!...This is very contrary with the report. I guess these video was kept by Iran waiting for those sailors changed the story wheather instruction by the gov. or by them.
Even Faye's story was paid for 6 digit figure according to CNN. The public has critised them over the matter.

The ultimate in torture leaves no physical marks, only deep mental scars. The Iranians forced them to read some of your posts! Oh the inhumanity.
